GALIATEA INC DESIGN SERVICES AND/OR VIRTUAL DESIGN CONSULTATIONS (EXPRESS VIRTUAL DESIGN CONSULTATION, STANDARD VIRTUAL DESIGN CONSULTATION, PREMIER DESIGN CONSULTATION PACKAGE, DELUXE VIRTUAL DESIGN CONSULTATION PACKAGE).

 I UNDERSTAND THAT THE DESIGN AND PRODUCT FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

I UNDERSTAND THAT I WILL FURNISH THE INFORMATION REQUESTED BY GALIATEA INC IN ORDER FOR THEM TO CREATE MY PERSONALIZED DESIGN AND/OR ROOM PACKAGE. I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THE INFORMATION PROVIDED IS ACCURATE TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND THE DESIGN SOLELY RELIES ON THIS INFORMATION.

I UNDERSTAND THAT THE COMPLETED DESIGN WILL BE DELIVERED TO ME EITHER THROUGH EMAIL OR A PRIVATE PAGE ON THE GALIATEA WEBSITE. THERE IS NO FACE TO FACE MEETING (UNLESS PREVIOUSLY AGREED AND PAYMENT RECEIVED), AND THE DESIGN WILL BE IMPLEMENTED BY ME. 

VIRTUAL DESIGN CONSULTATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS This service is for online design consulting, also known as Virtual Consultation or Virtual Design Consultation. The names previously listed may be used interchangeably throughout this agreement. It is best suited for individuals who want to be actively involved in the management of their project. Some knowledge of how to use a measuring tape, take photos and computer skills are necessary. You do not have to be tech savvy, as step by step directions will be given in most cases. Galiatea Inc is not responsible for the execution of design concepts provided. Online design consulting is a service intended to kick start your project and may or may not meet all your needs for a particular project. You understand that we are providing you with a design plan that you will execute and implement by doing all the purchasing and coordinating with the vendors that we specified in the shopping list. Once we deliver the plans to you, we have fully satisfied the agreement and we are released from further obligations. Galiatea Inc will supply instructions for the taking of measurements for the space to be designed, but the client is responsible for providing accurate dimensions. Galiatea Inc will supply a questionnaire to get to understand your design style and expectations for the finished design. Galiatea Inc will not be responsible for the means, methods, or procedures of construction, fabrication, delivery, & installation, or safety precautions in connection with its Virtual Design Consultation services, for the acts or omissions of the contractor or any, subcontractor, supplier, or other person performing the work of Online Service; or, for any failure of them to meet any schedules or completion dates. When appropriate, Galiatea Inc will provide links for suggested products for your project that may connect you to a third party vendor. We assume no responsibility or liability for your purchasing experience with third party vendors and recommend you review their policies before committing to any purchase. In some cases where appropriate and/or possible, products will be specified by manufacturer and item number giving the client the option to shop the product on their own for best pricing or for reference if they prefer to use local vendors. Client preferences will be determined through the initial questionnaire upon receipt of payment. In all situations, Galiatea Inc will endeavor to specify products and sources that are in the best interest of the client and their project. All drawings provided by Galiatea Inc are to be considered conceptual to convey the finished design and are not intended for construction purposes. Any drawings provided will be sufficient to present to a contractor or workroom to convey the overall design desired and to receive estimates if desired. All measurements are to be verified on site by any contractor or supplier before any final bids for materials or labor are submitted. All items specified are available through local or online retailers. We have no control over their stock and inventory or fluctuations in pricing. Therefore items may be on back-order, discontinued, or increased in price by the time you order. You are responsible for finding suitable replacements. Any further requests or changes beyond the 14 day allowance will incur an additional charge at an hourly rate of $197.00. Galiatea Inc offers complimentary email support for any questions you have concerning your virtual design package for 14 days following full acceptance of the proposed design. Galiatea Inc will not commence on behalf of the client until payment is received in full and all questionnaires and information required are submitted. There are no refunds issued on Virtual Design Consultation services. Galiatea Inc reserves the right to use any project drawings and/or photos for promotion of design services on social media or our website with the explicit guarantee that client privacy will be protected. 

The Premier Virtual Design Consultation and Deluxe Virtual Design Consultation packages are unique to each client who purchases them. We do our best to customize each design based on your unique needs. These packages are a great way to get a full room design for a lot less than traditional interior design. We provide a floor plan based on the measurements you send to us. Be sure to measure hallways, stairwells and doorways. It is entirely up to you to provide this information to insure that items fit in your home. Dimensions are provided to you for each furniture piece that is included in your room package. Upon receipt of your order and payment, and the completion of the questionnaire and of our Virtual Design Consultation call, we will send you your completed room package within 2-3 weeks. We do our best to customize the design based on the information you provide in the questionnaire.

Virtual Design Consultation Packages Disclaimer Policy 

 Please read the following carefully before moving forward with your purchase. Refunds are available up to 48 hours of payment for your Virtual Design Consultation Packages, however if any work has been done towards your project, we will not be able to refund you.

Our Virtual Design Consultation Packages include the Premier Virtual Design Consultation Package (Floor plan and furniture selection for 1 room) and the Deluxe Virtual Design Consultation Package (Floor plan and furniture selection for 2 rooms). Your signature is required for having read and understood what is contained in this document. Our Virtual Design Consultation Packages were created for clients who want to work with a Designer in the traditional way, but have a much smaller budget than the typical cost of designing and decorating a space. It means that you work with a professional Designer to create a room in your home, but also being involved in the project yourself. Galiatea Inc will use the measurements and pictures you supply, plus your response to the questionnaire that you must complete, to plan and source furnishings for your project. You will receive a full furniture floor plan with all the key pieces selected for you. If any revisions are requested they must be done within 7 days. We will bill our standard rate of $197 per hour for any additional revisions required. The design plan typically includes: A floor plan with furniture layout, all upholstery, case goods, accents, art, window treatments, rug, some pillows and other wall décor. The cost of our Room Packages is kept low because we are not managing the project for you. You are responsible for ordering and placing the products after that. This means that you or someone you designate, must be home to accept your deliveries (there will likely be several. You will need to place items in the space following the floor plan we supply. We will not be held responsible for any damages, defects or missing items. We are limited to each vendor’s claims policy, and cannot do anything beyond what they allow

Schedule your Virtual Design Consultation for 1 week after finishing your questionnaire, this will allow us time to review and have some ideas on hand for the call.
